With the start of our blog, we wanted to give you all a heads up on what you can expect to see from us (you know, besides the usual never-ending list of problems)!
As collegiate athletes, we have a pretty good idea of the struggles that arise when balancing soccer, school, family and a social life (laying in sweats on our couch). We are well-rounded female soccer players who try (hard) to balance being a tough, sweatpants-wearing female simultaneously willing to put makeup on and look nice off the field every once in a while.
We decided to make this blog so you can refer to it whenever you are feeling that late night craving for sweets and a recipe, or that desire to challenge yourself during a workout or drill, or even if you are in need of advice on injury prevention or recovery. We want you to feel like you are our teammates (Because let's be realistic, you don't have time for friends outside of your soccer team).
Let's be honest, a lot of blogs don't pertain to us soccer ladies. We think that this is a place where we can all try to improve ourselves and learn from each other, while being able to laugh at ourselves as we do.
